November 9, 2023 Special Town Meeting Warrant

To Gayle Clifford, Resident of the Town of Brooksville in the

County of Hancock and State of Maine

Greetings 

In the name of the State of Maine, you are hereby required to notify and warn the voters of the Town of Brooksville, in said County, qualified by law to vote in Town Affairs, to assemble at the Brooksville Public Service Building at 7:00 PM on Thursday the Ninth (9th) day of November A.D., 2023, to vote on the following articles:  

1.     To elect a Moderator by written ballot as provided in 30-A M.R.S.A. 2524(2) 

2.     Shall the voters of the Town of Brooksville authorize the Selectboard to transfer $1,500.00 from surplus into the Septic Waste Disposal Fee Account to address a deficit. 

3.     Shall the voters of the Town of Brooksville authorize the Selectboard to transfer $5,000.00 from surplus into the Public Service Building/Town House Account to address a year end deficit.     

The Registrar of Voters will be in session at the town office between the hours of  6:00 PM and 8:00 PM  on Thursday the Ninth (9th) day of November A.D., 2023,  to update the voters’ list.
